The cyclist who had a run-in with Shane Warne this month is suing the cricket legend.28 year old web designer Mathew Hollingsworth is launching a civil claim in the Melbourne Magistrates Court
He's seeking $1,500 for the repair bill for his hi-tech bike.
Mr Hollingsworth is alleging that Warne drove his sports car into him after a standoff in peak-hour traffic on St Kilda Road on January 17.
George Defteros, Hollingworth's lawyer, today said it was Warne's very public outburst on Twitter that prompted the cyclist to reveal his identity and make a claim.
